This coffee comes from Antioquia in Colombia’s Huila region which features particularly rare agroclimatic conditions and sensory attributes. Our partner the Coffee Quest began developing a relationship with the Giraldo community of coffee farmers several years ago through training and empowerment programmes allowing the community to operate harvests fully by themselves.
This fully washed coffee has a soft caramel-like, milk chocolatey body, mild sweetness with hints of mandarin and a clean and crisp aftertaste. It is a well-balanced and accessible coffee which is pleasant as both filter and espresso.
