Fazenda do Lobo “Farm of the Wolf”, is a farm with a renowned tradition of producing coffee beans. It is located in the municipality of Tres Corações, the biggest producing area of the country, Sul de Minas. The farm is currently managed by couple Andrea and Marcos. Andrea is the fourth generation of coffee growers of her family while her husband Marcos is an agronomist engineer. Since the family acquired the farm in 1996, all 90 hectares of coffee area have been replanted to aim for higher productivity in combination with a good diversity of varieties such as Arara, Acauã, Yellow Bourbon, Red catuaí, Yellow catucaí, Mundo Novo, Topázio.
This is an accessible coffee with a classic profile that bridges the gap between speciality coffee and traditional coffee drinkers. Enjoy the familiar flavours of nuts and dark chocolate we all love, but without the burnt and bitter aftertaste. Perfect for espresso and milk-based coffees. We were pleasantly surprised that this coffee has a little more complexity than some of our previous Brazilian coffees, making it a good choice for a more traditional tasting filter coffee.
