Blackberry, Peach, Cardamon
This sweet, fruity Ethiopian coffee is produced by farmer Kasim Kedir and imported through direct trade with Bette Buna, a farm owned by a Dutch-Ethiopian family. Kasim is a young farmer from Wucheru in the Nensebo area of West Arsi, a high-altitude region renowned for its coffee quality. Kasim grew up in a large family with twenty siblings. After studying in Addis Ababa, he returned to support the family farm, where he now leads a transformation in coffee production. Rather than selling his coffee cherries last year, he received training in natural processing methods and applied this knowledge to process his own lot for the first time, involving his family and local community in the processing efforts.
Our light roast profile yields a sweet, fruity cup with a spice-like undertone, so expect a bit of cardamon flavour. Enjoy this coffee as either a lighter, low-acidity filter or as a sweet and spicy espresso.
