This delightfully balanced Costa Rican coffee is a blend of a number of farmers’ crops from Helsar de Zarcero in the West Valley region. As such, the coffee includes a diverse range of arabica varietals including Caturra, Catuai, Villalobos, and others. The community features over 30 families who all share a passion for growing high-quality coffee and are constantly innovating to improve their practices. Our medium roast profile brings out a creamy, caramel-like body as well as a delicious praline-like flavour which lingers in the aftertaste. The coffee is also mildly fruity with a particularly orangey taste. This is a great all-round coffee which also features strong sustainability practices. It works great as espresso but we were also pleasantly delighted by it as filter.
