Colombia Bubblegum was one of our favourite coffees last year and we’re delighted to have it back on the shelves again! The exciting flavours in this coffee are testament to the meticulous processing done at El Vergel Estate. These beans have had a pre-fermentation for 36 hours in an anaerobic environment, before being placed in hermetic tanks under the shade where they ferment for a further 96 hours. This is a controlled and extended fermentation which develops the coffee’s unqiue flavour profile.
As you might have guessed from its name, expect some funky flavour notes in this coffee. It has a vibrant, fruity acidity, caramel-like sweetness and even a hint of seaweed in the aftertaste!
